Risk Assessment
A risk assessment is conducted when an individual has behaved in a manner that raises concerns about his/her safety or the safety of others. A risk assessment is often requested by a school or governing agency to ensure that the person is safe to return to school or work. It involves an assessment of mental health status, current and past risk concerns, personality dynamics, and strength assets.
At our clinic, we specialize in risk assessments. If you or someone you know has been referred for a risk assessment, do not hesitate to call us. These assessments are conducted and completed within 24-48 hours of the event. Our purpose is to reestablish a normal routine as soon as possible and to offer follow up care when necessary.
